Interested in joining INFORMAL LOUNGE?

Here's what you should know first.

Informal Lounge is a network of creators who want to build a community around not only themselves, but the people around them as well. While we would all hope to turn this into a career, we're not here for any money. Each member of Informal Lounge voluntarily chooses to participate in our community and activities under the Informal Lounge umbrella (for now, anyway). Membership does not require anyone to create content for Informal Lounge, participate in any particular project, or perform any specific task. No member is paid by Informal Lounge for participating in the community, and we don't currently have contracts or other formal agreements governing membership.

While that may be a drawback to some, to us it's our biggest strength. We're all here because we love to create and we want to build each other up. Everyone is free to create whatever, whenever, and however they want, with a network of people they know they can reliably reach out to for anything from brainstorming, collaborating, commissioning, and everything in between. Not to mention, any revenue you may end up making from your own content is yours to keep. Our only request is that you stay active as a member of our community — but being active simply means participating in the community, not fulfilling any work or content obligations for Informal Lounge.

Informal Lounge members participate in the community at the discretion of the group. Membership doesn't constitute ownership in the LLC, employment, compensation, or a contractual right to participate in group activities or appear on the website.

If you're a creator and you're looking to share the experience with others along the way then we think you'll be a good fit for our community, and we would love to see what you're creating!
